The Indiana Department of Transportation announces access to U.S. 36 (Rockville Road) will temporarily close at Bridgeport Road in Indianapolis
Beginning on or after Wednesday, June 3, INDOT contractors will close access to this location to improve storm infrastructure and the pavement in the area. This is a part of the ongoing Modern Rockville project.
This closure is anticipated to last until July but is weather-dependent and subject to change. Access will be maintained to all area businesses during construction.
INDOT encourages drivers to use extra caution in and around work zones and to seek an alternate route around this location.
