MARION COUNTY, Ind. (Oct. 7, 2026) — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces an update to the scheduled closure of Country Club Road at the intersection with U.S. 36 (Rockville Road).
The closure is now expected to begin on or after Monday, October 26. Crews will make drainage and pavement improvements on Country Club Rd. Access to all homes and businesses along Country Club Rd. will be maintained. The official detour will follow Country Club Rd., 10th Street, Girls School Road, and Rockville Rd. The intersection of Country Club Rd. and Rockville Rd. is expected to be closed for one month, weather permitting.
The intersection of Richie Avenue and Rockville Rd. is still on track to reopen on or after Friday, October 9. Crews were able to finish drainage and pavement improvements on Richie Ave. ahead of schedule.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and use extra caution while traveling in and around work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
